Well, I have to say, this episode was not nearly as bad as I had expected it to be, though it definitely could’ve used a lot more work. It is safe to say that this was better than Iron man’s first episode (which, admittingly, isn’t saying much). The story was rather simple with some very cliche lines in there, but the action scenes were relatively well done, and the plot looks like it may actually get interesting (big “maybe” there). While I’m not terribly excited about this show (and the episode was still pretty bad), I’ll admit that it can potentially get better, but I can’t really say for sure until we see more of the main cast in more episodes.
My Score: 2/5
Here's some tidbits from the First part of Episode #1
We start this series ON A BOAT!! (actually its a Yacht but w/e) we see Mariko Yashida standing on the edge of the boat/Yacht enjoying the nighttime view of Japan. When Wolverine (I think) walks up behind her and gets all lovey-dovey. Suddenly, three guys in scuba gear wearing jet-packs (Now we know where Cyclops got his from) they start opening fire wolvie's love boat and he jumps between Mariko who is caught with nowhere to go.
Of course Wolverine heals himself and he starts cutting them up, after that we inexplicably jump to one year later where we next see a Japanese Business man apparently running away from something (I'm guessing he had a hard time letting go after Japan's new law passed and was caught with some contraband and is now running from the police). We see that the people chasing Japanese business man are five guys in scuba gear and jet-packs (Now with a big ass Ray Gun!!) they shoot their big ass ray gun at the Japanese business man and......
